Just a little About Me

Hi everybody, my name is Adam Stoak I am 29 years old. I'm married to a lovely Canadian women named Kelly. I have a one year old son named Simon and another boy on the way. We currently live in Harrisburg, PA. I was also born in Harrisburg, PA (well actually at the Harrisburg Hospital), but raised on the side of a mountain in a small country town called Duncannon. I love to draw, watch anime, read manga (comics), and look at Awesome art. But most of all I love Jesus Christ, secondly my lovely wife, and thirdly my children. I started drawing when I was about three years old (or so my mother tells me) and haven't really stopped since (except for when I broke my drawing arm those three times). I read my first comics when I was about 7 years old, when my mom got my dad an assortment of comics for Christmas. He said, "Comics are for kids I don't want them." So, filled with anticipation, I exclaimed, "Can I have them?!" Once I read those comics I was hooked. From that moment I knew I wanted to be a comic book artist. In the many years since I have made a lot of creator owned comics, obviously some are much better than others. I am presently working on my comic Legend of the King. Its a fantasy comic about a 12 year old boy who is destined to be king (but if you found yourself here you probably already know that). My full time job is actually being a stay at home Dad. But, when I am not attending to my little son I work diligently on my art and comic. I hope this helps you get to know me a little bit better. If you want to ask me anything just send me an email.
